About Teriyaki House
The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
This is now our new favorite place. Wish I've known this place before. The food was delicious and generous. We had the Salmon Bento and Chicken Teri Plate. We loved it!!! It was a lot for me. I still have a lot left for dinner. Price was reasonable and staff were nice. Can be long wait but worth it.
Reasonably priced, good portions. I had the 10pc sushi roll plate, and upgraded to steamed veggies, but they came litly steamed, closer to raw than cooked. Edamame was good (hard to not make that peoperly). My friend had the bento box w/chicken teriyaki. Salad dressing comes in 1oz to go containers, despite us dining in restaurant. Atmosphere clean but hotel-room boring (I'm in my 50's).
This place reminds me of my childhood of going with my grandma and eating in little Tokyo. There’s a lot of love and care put into the food and it really shows with the presentation. What really sets this place apart is the customer service. Some of the nicest owners I have met and always went out of their way to say hello to my 5 year old to make him feel special. I would also like to mention the price point is amazing for the amount of food and quality.
Teriyaki House is my long term relationship. Forget romance, I'm talking about Bentos. These Bento Boxes are stacked with so many different goodies it feels like opening a Korean surprise party every time. One box fed both my stomach and my soul. I will defend this place like it's my hometown. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you like eating a lot and making good life choices.
This place is so good! The staff is so kind and quick. Their food is made fresh to order which is great because I’m really picky with chicken, but I ordered the chicken teriyaki with vegetables bowl and ate every piece! The chicken was so tender and didn’t have that “frozen 10 min ago” taste to it. We also got the chicken dumplings which were very tasty although I wish they came with sauce! But the soy sauce went well with it anyway. The store is clean and quaint. We will DEFINITELY be coming back.
