Worst dining experience in a long time. Where to start? I ordered coffee, it came cold with no way to stir it and it took the waitress forever to bring me a spoon. We asked how many enchiladas came in the meal so she went back to ask, came back and said 4 but what came out was 2. My mother in law was offered a pata with her bland menudo and it was barely bigger than the spoon. My holandaise sauce for my eggs Benedict was thick and lumpy and tasted nothing like it should and my eggs were under cooked so the whites were runny with the yellow. Our daughter ordered the Mickey pancakes that were supposed to be shaped and they just threw 2 pancakes on a plate like a stack. There were no utensils, no napkins and none were offered so we took both forks and napkins off a neighboring table. And the whole time we were there we were the only ones there. Dinner time with no customers should have been a sign. Horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The reviews on here have to be from people they know because there's no way they are legitimate.
Delicious food! Everything tasted very fresh. Service was excellent, food came out quickly too! I ordered a wet super burrito with chicken and a green sauce. It wasn't too spicy, but had a very fresh flavor.
The extra hot sauce was 🔥 honestly some of the best chilaquiles! Service was great! A new must go, when nearby for me!
Vegan and vegetarian types: i confirmed their rice and beans are both vegan. Get the vegan wet burrito with their mild but delicious homemade hot sauce. If you want more heat add the garlic Tabasco. i found the ambience about average for a so called traditional authentic place. no frills. service was fast and was able to confirm plant-based burrito possibilities if you pay cash its cheaper too!
It was pretty good. Again, not like back home but okay for us (and friendly enough for those with...mild palates and the seasoning-challenged). We got the green chilaquiles and the Montecristo sandwich. Bf liked the sandwich. The bread was yummy and just sweet enough - but not too overpowering. We missed having Montecristo sandwiches since moving here, so that was very exciting. It came with fresh fruits that actually tasted good and ripe rather than frozen. Eggs were made to perfection according to request. I liked the chilaquiles. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to chilaquiles because nothing beats mom's homemade breakfasts. Buuut it was delicious and a sizeable portion. I would like it more if they came with a little more salsa verde and sour cream + crumbly cheese. I think you can always ask for that, though, so that's on me. There's also no shredded chicken on them, but I think that's normal at most restaurants. Like my waitstaff coworkers would always say, if ya want it just the way you like it, COOK AT HOME, FOO'!. So, not bad. I also thought it was a little...interesting that it came with an orange on top of the rice. Ah yeah, the rice was good too. Somebody really knows how to make it. My eggs were good as well (over-easy), so it wasn't a fluke. There was plenty of seating around 1pm, but it's a pretty new restaurant so I think it'll get busier as it gains more traction. We also came in right after peak lunch time. There's regular tables and booths; indoor and patio seating available. Overall, I think this place is nice and I hope they get discovered by more locals. The staff was also incredibly friendly and patient, which eased my anxiety since I'm a little hard-of-hearing. Oh yeah, and the menu needs to be updated already, as our two menus looked a bit different from each other and had some incorrect things, like another reviewer said (edited my review to confirm I saw the mistake too). My bf's menu did not include the Montecristo, but mine did. And NO it was not a breakfast menu vs lunch menu thing. Even the waiter acknowledged that it needed updated, because it is the GENERAL MENU, my dudes. I'd say Señor Chilaquiles lives up to its namesake.
