The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
I drive a little out of my way just to be able to go get gas here. They're loyalty card offer is amazing and there's plenty gas pumps to use too. Lots of stuff inside also. Coffee, fountain drinks too.
Unfortunately They Do Not have Public Bathrooms. I don't know why. But I stopped by there and asked about their bathroom, and they said No Public Bathroom. They apologized for it. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
This place always has good prices and it's convenient. But I don't like that I have had people ask me for money on several occasions. It seems to be a main loitering area for homeless. I'm gonna have to find a safer gas station.
This place is very convenient to get in right before hwy 40 off 321 in Hickory, NC across from the mall. But it was very late and I was leaving the Emergency Vet, about a half mile away. And I missed the first entrance at the light and the second entrance didn’t have any markings and I almost missed it. I was getting on hwy 40 with over a hundred + miles to go at 1am. And this was the only place between the er and the highway. And with less than a quarter of a tank of gas. I decided I better stop now. This gas station was actually more expensive than any of the other stations I had seen. You would think that wouldn’t be true next to the highway and the gas came out so weird out of the handle I only got about $15 dollars worth. This was to get me home and whatever happened I would have plenty of gas at 2am. When your animal gets sick no matter the time off you go. And the emergency vet in Hickory, NC is the very best. It is called Carolina Animal Specialist and Emergency: C.A.S.E.. I’m originally from Charlotte and used the vets there. This place is half the amount and the people are much nicer to you and I believe your animal. That’s why I was at this gas station at 1 am. And there was trash everywhere and nothing to help clean my disgusting windshield. I have my own cleaner so I only needed paper. Not that impressed with this station. I was able to get gas at 1am so I’m giving them a three. They have higher prices on gas/gallon and weird gas handles. Definitely not a $1.99/gallon. I felt like the gas being pumped out and the price per gallon didn’t match. After being at the er vet all night I just wanted to go home.
Newly remodeled and they have cherry lemon Sundrop. I'd go there for that reason alone.
