About Molcajete Mexican Bar and Grill
The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
The food was beautiful! Our group had an enchilada - grandson reported it was yummy, a child's taco with fries - grandchildren shared the fries dipping them in the delicious sauce from the enchilada, Barrio tacos - daughter reported they were awesome, and molcajete which husband reported was incredibly delicious and filling. Everyone left with containers for the next day. It was a lovely visit and the attentive staff were very patient with our large group. Excellent service!
Went in for lunch right as it opened. Ordered the Rinconcito and the husband got the fajitas. Both were very delicious although the taco was soft on one side, hard on the other. Salsa and queso were excellent. Servers were great, if not slightly disorganized. Chalking it up to being the beginning of the day.
So delicious! May be the best food I’ve had anywhere in East TX. First time here & will definitely drive the 30 miles to get more of it. Wife highly recommends Tacos Al Carbon with carnitas. Came with excellent beans (soup). And the salsa was great too. Called in the order to pick up; ready in 10 minutes. Can’t speak to the interior aspects. Looking forward to dining inside next time, hopefully soon.
Absolutely Excellent!!!! The atmosphere was wonderful, not very busy but did show up at the tail end of lunch. The wait staff is very attentive and checks in very frequently. The food is very delicious and tastes wonderful, I absolutely love the flavor of the #11. The refried beans and rice are wonderful and the 2 cheese enchiladas topped with eggs was so delicious. Will definitely be back to try more dishes. If you get a chance stop by and check them out
This place rocks! The carne asada was incredible, made with obviously fresh, high-quality ingredients. My party loved the trio enchiladas and the sour cream enchiladas too! Loved the diverse menu with lots of delicious options. Highly recommend! 🌮🤤
