I’m an extreme stickler when it comes to quality of food, especially when it’s from My country (Peru). The first time I entered, I noticed they had lomo saltado Which is a signature dish from Peru. I jokingly asked if they have a Peruvian cooking the dish in the back they laughed and said no however they did say that their family member was Peruvian and taught them how to make the dish properly. It’s a very particular dish very relatively simple, but you’d be surprised at how many people mess it up once I ate the food I was particularly stunned at how good it was good isn’t even enough to describe the taste It was genuinely amazing. I absolutely highly recommend this restaurant and I would definitely be willing to make an hour drive from Wilmington just to eat here again. I love this place!
I eat at this restaurant every Wednesday as a date night with my wife of 45 years. This is our favorite local restaurant close to our home. They recently introduced WINGS on their menu and my god they are some of the best WINGS. They are marinated in some secret ingredient that provides flavor all the way to the bone. I highly recommend all there foods on their menu, however the WINGS are out of this world. I have had them twice this week along. No sauce needed. I ordered mine naked. Friendly, professional and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food is excellent, the staff is wonderful, the chicken is epic. Great menu. Well lit, and clean. We always enjoy going here. If you haven't stopped by and had a dinner, you have no idea what you are missing. If you pass by and don't stop in that is your loss. Don't forget to try the tres leches. We highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy!
This restaurant is outstanding! The chicken is some of the best you will find anywhere. I cannot resist their burritos, let’s just say they are amazing. The food is truly authentic, the couple that own/manage the restaurant are two of the kindest people you will meet. The rest of the staff are very friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Prices are very reasonable. Portions are about average, with the exception of the burritos, which seem to be large, and oh, did I mention taste amazing!!
We visited Que Rico while having lunch with friends while we were in town. I ordered a whole rotisserie chicken with rice, black beans and fried Yucca. The food was hot and delicious, the staff very friendly and helpful and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend Que Rico and will return when we are in town next.
