The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
I got the Chicken Tikka Masala Curry + my husband got the Chicken Biryani and it was great! I wanted the curry between mild and spicy and they nailed it. Also when my husband went to pick it up, said the owner talked to him as he was waiting to “connect with the customer” and walked him through how he came up with the menu, and was very kind. The only thing that would make this place better would be if they had a sit down restaurant!
I ordered the Tikka Mutter Paneer, which was very good. I also ordered a side of Samosas, which were just a little overcooked. One edge of one was actually burnt. I ate around it. The filling was good. Otherwise, very good and would recommend. The owner came out and chatted while my order was being finished up. He was very nice. Decor is minimal, a little heavy on the number of Quran's for sale. That could be scaled back a little and maybe replaced with other cultural items.
Such a unique experience! I loved every bit. I was working late and craving some comfort food. My comfort food is Indian and I had driven by MJ Cusine many times thinking I would stop and now I’m so happy that I finally did. Wonderful interactions with the family owners, and my tastebuds were just as satisfied. I ordered the chicken tikka masala pizza and oh my.. so much flavor and just the right amount of spice. Thank you for your service and wide range of foods to choose from, MJ Cuisine! I will be returning.
Food was great, I had the butter chicken curry with and order of garlic naan, the butter chicken curry was rich in flavor and well worth it although I wish it came with rice but with the order of garlic naan which btw comes with 5 pieces sufficed, all around the food was very good. I do recommend ordering 30-40 mins before picking up.
Had the Chicken Vindallo,Chicken Tikka, and the Samosas.Everything was fabulous, especially the green sauce that came with the Samosas. Rice was cooked perfectly! A nice 1/2 and 1/2 for lunch.Good sized portions! Will definitely be back!
