About Jimano’s Pizzeria
The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
Being a Chicago native, this place is my go to when I want a delicious, authentic thin crust that reminds me of home. Their food and customer service is always on point regardless of how busy they are. Thank you Jimano's, and keep up the great work!
This place was a great find. I’ve been searching high and low for a decent tavern style pizza, and Jimano’s checked the box. This was my first time in but it won’t be my last. Great pizza, friendly service and a clean, comfortable dining area. The dining area is small but I get the feeling most people get takeout.
I grew up in Chicago - north side on true Chicago pizza - thin crust, lots of cheese and meat and cut in squares. Jimano’s is the real deal. Best pizza I have had since I don’t know when. Been searching for a place like this for decades. Two minor differences from the north side pizza of my childhood- the crust was oh so slightly thinner and crispier and the sausage grease wasn’t dripping off each slice - both pluses in my mind. Folks in the service industry could take a lesson or two in friendly and helpful behind the counter customer service from the two gents working and baking. The atmosphere is walk up to counter and 4 small square tables for dining but we were the only ones eating in and had a grand old time eating way too much pizza.
Lived in CO for 9 years, from Chicago. Love CO, but hated what they called pizza, until I wandered into your Lafayette location!!! Hands down the best pizza I ever got here!! So much like home!!! Yay! Thanks!!!!
If you’re looking for a Chicago style pizza, this place is fantastic! I like to support local being a business owner myself and ordered pizza for a staffing event and couldn’t be more pleased. They’re deep dish recipe is one of a kind and the crust is so unique with just the right amount of crispy edges! They also have a variety of other items, including thin crust and even buffalo wings! Highly recommend this place if you are a pizza connoisseur!
