First time here, staff was friendly and prompt, restaurant was clean inviting. I chose the pastor torta and my wife had a chicken quesadilla. Definitely worth going back.
I'm in town on business but took lunch here. First off the parking lot is packed!! The wait was Normal I would say for a lunch crowd. I ordered 4 El pastor Tacos and they were filled to the brim with meat! The flavor was supreme in every bite. Very well cooked, now this is just my preference but the only mistake that was made in my opinion was that all the condiments for the tacos was laid on the inside of the tray to serve as a bed for the tacos. I know I know it sounds beautifully put together but no you have chopped cilantro, diced onions, tomatoes and radish covered up by the very thing there supposed to garnish not to mention getting warmed up by the tacos heat!😱 The bottom line is the food is phenomenal! Great proportions and good ole Mexican hospitality!
It's one of those places where you know they get a lot of repeat local customers. And while we aren't local to Southern Pines, we're gonna come back and bring friends. The food was great! Aside from my dish (Sopes) being a bit spicier than my baby self can handle, it was delicious, and I'll order it again! My husband was delighted they offered tamales, something he has a hard time finding in our area. He ordered three as an appetizer. We brought one home so we'd have something to fight over. They were very good! I have NOTHING bad to say about this place. (FYI My husband went to the restroom and commented that it was extremely clean. And that's how you know the place is well taken care of.) Thank you for our fabulous supper. We'll see you soon!!!
Fresh and bright flavors. Tried the burrito and tacos. The guacamole was delivered in the grinding bowl and still had chunks of avocado. There is a bakery in the restaurant so it smells great. The plastic utensils were a challenge to cut with and the food arrives in a basket. Overall, l will go back
went here with a friend in august. they don’t tell you that they only have bottled drinks, and the menu does not have prices on it. cheese sauce was good but pricey, carnitas burrito was very dry and not very flavorful. asada taco and salsa were good. would not go back
