The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
Had a great time here! They have really good meat options. Tried birria for the first time and it’s delicious. Huge menu! Plus a vegetarian section. All vegetarian options included fajita peppers and onions though so I would have liked to see more variety there. Also they seemed to have a really good sound system here. At first I thought they had live music, but it wasn’t. It also wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t talk easily.
Great food, drinks, and atmosphere! I have been here twice and both times I had excellent experiences. The first time I was in, it was very quiet with only a few other guest. The next time, almost every seat was filled (however we had no wait). The food has been delicious and came very quickly both times. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion too. Definitely worth trying!
I’m sorry to do this to them because that staff was polite but The food was not at all worth what I paid, In my opinion. The staff and vibes were cool, laid back and clean. But the food I wouldn’t try again. First, the fish on my fish tacos were burnt as you see in the pictures. The tortillas for the tacos were greasy. There was some weird orange sauce with the fish tacos that was not good, I have no idea what it was. The fish taco was very disappointing all around, burnt fish topped with plain flavorless cabbage and plain mayonnaise squirted on top?! Just not good at all. Then the rice was flavorless but the beans were okay. Lastly the guacamole was decent , but had a strong cilantro taste which was ok because I like that. I wouldn’t go here again unless they improved their dishes.
Amazing Birria! Everything was fabulous, including the server. I wish the atmosphere was a little cozier (dimmer lights and not as open) but everything else is 5 stars ✨️
Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here last night. The grande chimichanga lived up to it's name (I had to take 1/2 home). Everything was delicious. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The bar is beautiful and the restaurant is very clean. Will definitely come back when in the area.
