Had the ACP Texacano and it was delicious. Shrimp and chicken were cooked to perfection as well as the rice and vegetables. Seasonings were on point. Don't like beef, so that was not the best for me. Waiter was friendly and had a great attitude. Definitely a great place to take a family or go by yourself.
Service was great. Food was delicious! Dj played music 🎶 the whole time while we were there good selection of music. No complaints will be going back
Average experience with a little pricey cost. We went for lunch on a decently busy day and got seated quickly. The wait staff was a little rushed so we didn't get amazing service, that being said, we weren't neglected either. The chips we got had no salt and the salsa was bland. For our meal we got the carnitas el heuero, and the burrito California which were $18 each. The carnitas were underseasoned and a bit dry but with the toppings was pretty good, my only complaints being the cilantro was badly chopped and there wasn't enough tortillas for the meal. The burrito was one note as it was mostly cheese which turned stoggy as it sat. The mole it was served with was the highlight. Both we're fine, just nothing special. We got tres leches for dessert which we found was good but would be better with more moisture as it was quite grainy. This was a pretty okay restaurant that we might come back to, just not our first choice for the area.
I had the tacos de carne asada, a hard shell beef taco, rice and refried beans, with the Toro fire ice cream for dessert. I would have gone with a different sauce for the steak tacos, but they were still good. I would have added a sauce with a touch of heat to it. The hard shell beef taco was good. Exactly what I wanted. The rice and refried beans were perfection. They definitely brought the heat with the ice cream. The waitress literally set a gravy boat of rum on fire and poured it over the ice cream, igniting it. She dusted it with cinnamon, drizzled it with Hershey's chocolate syrup, and told me to blow it out. I would have loved more frequent Diet Pepsi refills.
