The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
The food was amazing, and the staff were very pleasant. I never went here because I thought it was a bar. Wish I had checked them out sooner. Can't wait to get back! Family friendly.
The BEST Mexican food I have ever had! The food was so delicious and flavorful. May God bless the chefs. The place was very clean and spacious for many people to visit. The atmosphere was very welcoming and servers were kind, friendly and helpful. Our server was very welcoming, helpful with the menu options, gave great customer service/feedback, and even checked on our table throughout our time there to ensure we had everything we needed. I’ve never been to a restaurant where I didn’t go without asking for a drink refill until I came here. If you are seeing my review PLEASE DON’T HESITATE AND COME TO THE BEST SPOT IN NC. Thank you all so much for your service, I haven’t had this type of service in a while. My family and I are very appreciative.
I booked reservations for 7 adults and one child for 6/8/25. Entered the restaurant and there was a girl on the phone at the counter with her back towards us. Never turned around to acknowledge us or nothing. Did not want to bother her. Another girl walked up to the counter. Right in front of me and started going through receipts. Never a hi or nothing. A guy walked up and never said anything as well. Finally another guy walked up and got 2 menu's and went to seat the couple that came in behind us. I spoke up that we were next and had a party of 7 people. Told him to go ahead and seat them. The server seated us and I asked for the manager. Come to find out. Our server was the manager on duty. I had already expressed my concern to him. He apologized and said that he would investigate it. He was very professional and caring to our needs. Food was great and they even sang Happy Birthday to my friends granddaughter who had turned eight. Two weeks prior and who has adhd. And did not celebrate her birthday due to several issues. It made her day. I just hope that the management can correct the employee attitude. I am 70 years old and I put myself through college. By waiting tables. Things have changed alot since then. I was always polite and took very good care of my customers. Customer service goes a long way. I will try the restaurant again and hope that the atmosphere has changed
I was hesitant when it was described as "modern" but the modern feel and atmosphere doesn't change the amazing authentic tasting food. El Jefe plate was great and the birra was wonderful. Service was fantastic. Prices are fair for the food and drink specials are great!
Uno Mexican Restaurant in Asheboro is a great spot for flavorful Mexican food and a fun atmosphere. Their happy hour margaritas are a must—delicious and affordable! The food was fresh, and the service is friendly. A great place to unwind and enjoy a meal! Great prices for lunch specials!
