well worth the 3 hour round trip on public transit from chicago for me. i tried the 3 quesabirria and asada tacos, and both were so delicious & flavorful. tacos were very generously filled with meat. definitely a meal that will make you sleepy because it’s so good. very excited to come back

When I tell you this place is the best. Doesn’t do it justice. Imagine yourself in a room full of food with thousands of options. This is the place in that room you run to. We got the steak birra tacos Carne asada tacos And steak torta (includes fire guac!!) I’m not a hot hot sauce kind of guy but their sauces were absolutely phenomenal. This is a must go to place if you’re passing through looking for lunch.

We had the flautas, chicken torta and the chilaquiles. Everything was made to order, fresh, hot and full of flavor! Their chips were freshly made, salsas, guac, rice and beans were all good as well! Their tamarindo and horchata drinks were very good as well. Customer service was great, we will definitely be back!

Tacos Azteca is exactly what you think it is, but the best. From their warm, homemade chips/guac salsa (wow!) to the kind, friendly service, they do it to the highest degree. I feel like I’m eating with friends. Try the tostada, piled high on top of two home-fried tortillas. Fantastic and delicious - Thank you!!
