The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
We cannot recommend this company highly enough, from start to finish everyone and all of the equipment are the highest of quality and integrity. We started with Keith and the sales process which was the smoothest and open/honest process anyone could ask for. Scott was equally as helpful making sure all the installation and operational aspects exceeded expectations. Paul with all the electrical knowledge and Taylor with the panel installation expertise were a pleasure to be around, always positive and craftsmen in their own rights. Brandon wrapped it up with the technology and some fine tuning on the panel install while Lindsay was always pleasantly available on the phones and in the office to communicate with us all as needed. What an incredible company! We did our research and talked to a number of other companies in the area, but no one came in with as much knowledge, fair pricing, high-quality equipment, and fast timelines as Sunshine Solar. We did panels + battery at our Jacksonville home, and they made sure we really understood how our solar system would work, and didn't try to pressure us into upgrades or buying more than we needed at all. Like others have said, we got contracts from other companies and there were some very real bad-faith provisions included -- payment upfront before the system was installed, and no guarantee that it would be completed prior to the end of year (6+ months away at that point). And, they wanted to charge us more! Sunshine Solar ended up finishing our project around ~1 month ahead of their original estimate (thanks in part to faster permitting), and were consistently communicative and kept us in the loop throughout it all. They really went above and beyond through every step of the process, and we couldn't be happier. Highly, highly recommend!
It's been a hundred sales calls over years and no one made more sense of going solar then Sunshine Solar! Professional all the way. waiting for final inspection but so far I have no complaints. Before you do any solar install, do yourself a favor and talk to Sunshine Solar first.

They took the time to walk our family through every step of the custom design process and installation, ensuring that we were well-informed and comfortable with the process. They also took care of all of the permitting and paperwork for both install and our financing, so all we had to worry about were a few signatures (after reviewing the contracts of course)! And as for financing, they walk you through all of your available options as far as paying for your system goes, including explaining all of the current financial incentives available for installing solar on your home. We really appreciated this so we were able to accurately figure our system into our household budget. Kind and Approachable: Keith, Scott, and their team were not just skilled but also incredibly kind. They answered all of our questions with patience and took the time to explain the benefits and workings of solar power in a way that was easy to understand. From initial consult to final inspection, the Sunshine Solar team treated us and our property with respect and kindness. State-of-the-Art Monitoring: Once the installation was complete, Brandon came to ensure our system was live, and introduced to the Enlighten Enphase app for at-home monitoring. This tool has been fantastic for keeping track of our solar system’s performance. The app provides real-time data, allowing us to monitor energy production and consumption effortlessly. The app actually reflects our exact panel system, and shows us the kilowatt hours we are producing each day. It’s a great feature that adds an extra layer of convenience and control, ensuring that we can easily keep tabs on how well the solar panels are performing. It will also ensure that we’ll know right away if there is an issue with a specific panel not producing, because the app will show us directly. If that every happens, we know the Sunshine Solar team will be out to fix any issue right away. Conclusion: Overall, our experience with Sunshine Solar, Inc. has been nothing short of excellent. The combination of a family-run business's personal touch, professional efficiency, and the added benefit of advanced monitoring technology has made this investment in solar energy a positive and rewarding one.
