About Spoleto Pizza
The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
We ordered delivery for the first time from Spoleto this evening and it was delicious! We chose the cheese pizza with banana peppers and bacon -so delicious! I thought the cheesy breadsticks were thin & dry, but my son enjoyed them. The Traditional Margarita pizza was good. Steak & Cheese sub and fries were a favorite!! Delivered quick and hot! We would order again.
I ordered take out tonight. Lg cheese pizza and a cutlet supreme salad. The salad was delicious and exceeded my expectations. My kids loved the chicken on it. The pizza was quite good but definitely could have used another two or three minutes in the oven. I'll try again, though price with delivery was a bit steep @ $44 (including tip). Maybe I'll try pick up next time but then it's a matter of finding parking on Rantoul. I hope they succeed. It was an enjoyable dinner.
I ordered a Brazilian-style chicken pizza with a cream cheese crust. The dough was very chewy, but that isn't a deal breaker for me. The big issue was that the pizza came covered in corn, which was not listed anywhere on the ingredients. The texture from the corn ruined the pizza for me. On top of that, the pizza was quite expensive (over $30 for a large). The service was good, however.
Ordered a Biggy Mac Pizza and a sausage caramellato pizza both came really really good. Could not stop eating it. Will definately come back and try order foods they have. Staff was helpful explaining what they have to offer.
The pizza gave me mixed feelings. I never wright reviews, but felt this was needed to say. The ingredients seemed like good quality and the sauce was decent, but the crust was disgustingly chewy it had punch holes (similar to a golf green being aerated) which screams store bought pre-made and pre-shaped and was very chewy like a bad grocery store frozen pizza. Ordered a pizza w/ added portabello mushrooms and one fell off so I ate it alone and the only flavor I tasted was sweet wine wine (no mushroom flavor at all) so it was cooked in too much wine. Will never order from them again
