The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
Just as the cafe name says!!!! It was good for the soul! Such a friendly staff. Very much ready to accommodate food preferences and modifications to the menu items!!! I tried mushroom egg asparagus on toast one day and next day went back to try their cilantro chicken bowl (salad style modified). And the COFFEE ☕️!!!!! Special mention for Nutella French toast with blueberries and strawberry parfait!!!! Amazing!!!! I wish I could go there again but Alas my vacation is over!!!!
Comfort food, strong vibe, mixed execution If you’re familiar with my 150+ Google reviews, you know Soul Good Eatery is a bit outside my usual comfort zone — but it’s the holidays, so I leaned in. The ambiance is a win: relaxed, co-work–friendly, and inviting enough to linger. If you like pancakes with a cornbread texture, this spot is for you — distinct, just not my personal preference. I’m not a pork fan, but the bacon delivers: thick, flavorful, and closer to a slice of ham hock than standard bacon. The coffee fell flat for me — more brown water than bold brew. The Rescue Me absolutely saved the meal and brought everything back into balance. Bonus points: clean restrooms (always appreciated). Not everything landed, but the vibe and a few standout items made it worth the visit.
Impressed by this place! We got a couple of brunch platters and I got the salad with chicken and pumpkin. The flavors on everything were really good. Sweet little outdoor seating area.
I ordered this food for my elderly mother who has a pretty strict diet these days and she absolutely loved it. She said everything tasted so fresh, the portions were generous and it really looked just like the picture online. I will definitely be taking her back to dine in to try some of the other items.
Cutest place ever! One of my favorite spots for all day breakfast. I go all the time and get the pancakes with bacon, and I am making my way through their yummy drinks. So far I've had the blueberry pie latte, the apple crisp latte, the vanilla iced latte, and mocha iced latte, and the orange iced latte. All delicious!
