Great tasting gorditas. Caldo de res is good too.
Really like the fried Carnitas from the meat department and the Chicharron verde from the Taqueria is delicious! Bought 2 avocados and 1 cilantro and I’m SOOOOO GLAD I READ THE REVIEWS prior to coming here (saw how people were being double charged)and glad I had my husband check the receipt before we left cause we were double charged for cilantro ($1.10). I mentioned this to the cashier and she said oh sorry I meant to charge you for the avocado (which she did $3..39 each) … BIG DIFFERENCE. She gave us a refund. I know it’s not a lot of money but every cent counts these days and if they are doing that to us can you imagine how many other people they are doing that to and especially the elderly. It’s a damn shame!
Not a bad supermarket. Lots of Hispanic products you will not find anywhere else. Prices are fair. Bakery is great! We just went in quickly, as we were just passing by. Didn’t spend much time in there. The restaurant was packed and smelled delicious. I imagine people wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t good.
The prices are too high. No one is rich enough to buy food here in Denver Harbor. I paid 6 dollars for a gallon of milk. Mayonnaise was 6-8 bucks depending on which was chosen. That is just a few, but everything was higher than even the gas station convenience stores. Why they take the money or food stamps from us, some of the poorest, like that, I can't understand.
I wouldn't shop here, but it does have authentic Latin brands, if your making you're favorite Hispanic dish this might be the place foe all that you need 💯🙏🏾
