I ordered chicken platter with collard greens ,candy yams and a side of baked macaroni. The chicken was tasteless cut up drum sticks.greens missing the vinegar taste I've become use to only to be confronted with suger lots of sugar. The yams were not sweet enough I this batch was seasoned wrong yet you ample time to fix it Last but not least the Mac and cheese was dry and showed over done brown spots through out it. This dish $20 since we ordered 3 different meals $60 in total only one person found her dish edible with ox tails .Come on spruce it up know what seasoning goes to which item adjust the heat where needed delivering less burnt food. A word the wise should be appreciated. Look at my photos below. Thank you
Ordered delivery via Uber Eats, I ordered Jerk Pork. When the food arrived and I opened it the jerk pork was just all fat. The rest of the food was barely warm and the rice was hard. This was the worst Jamaican food I have ordered.
I ordered via Uber eats and I was pleasantly surprised! It was soooo good and spicy like I like it. The one piece of salmon was a little on the small side, but they included another piece just to make fulfilling. This was some of the best Caribbean food I’ve tasted in a looonnnnggg time. Each portion tasted wonderful like someone took their time. Obviously I’m impressed especially ordering on a Friday night. They’ll be the first on my list! Update 1/3/23: Go to any other place. The little bit of fish that I got is BURNT. Not only is is burnt, but the burnt fish was laid upon rice and cabbage so that’s also taste burnt! I want my money back since my first review some quality issues were present, maybe a portion of the food didn’t taste as expected or you could tell there was someone else cooking that day. I don’t mind the wait for the food because that’s beyond the restaurants control when it ordered through delivery apps, but I am so very unimpressed with the lack of quality and attention. Although the wings are extra small, I would’ve overlooked that, but is my money not good enough or green enough? This is quite horrible. There’s clearly no expectations for food quality or presentation. I want my money back too. Should’ve just went to get some Chinese food. Wow, it’s disgraceful.
Authentic Jamaican food. Don't miss out. They have great customer service. The staff was very friendly and the price is reasonable for the portion size. I had the fried chicken, Mac and cheese on the side and rice and peas We need this in the North Carolina.
The wait time for delivery was terrible. When the food arrived it was cold and dry. The Jamaican and Caribbean restaurants on uber eats continue to disappointment and continue to be a waste of money. I’m almost certain that the portion sizes and quality of food they are serving is simply due to the food being delivered and not ordered and picked up in person. The curry goat from shaggys was dried out, there is absolutely no juice in the platter no sauce in sight, the rice is dry, not to mention I ordered a large and got a huge portion of rice to go with a handle full of dry meat, the cabbage was ok. The presentation all together wasn’t appealing to the eye. The Mac and cheese tasted like butter and the container was full of oil indicating that it was old and reheated. This was my first time ordering from here and I don’t think I’d order again.
