The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
The food is still decent with decent prices, but you can forget about getting an actual serving of meat with your meal. The chicken and rice and beef tips and rice basically have no meat in them. This isn’t the 1st -2nd or 3rd time but many times the meals are basically non existent of meats in the food. I paid for beef tips and rice and literally the only thing in it was a ton of mushrooms, only 3 little fatty pieces of beef… chicken and rice is the same way, all rice and breading with very little chicken. I’ve see other complain of this same thing, and here’s my take. I’m pretty disappointed and now that my suspicions are confirmed I will not be back
Food was awesome. My grandmothers country cooking made over! They even had pepper sauce for my greens. I will be returning every time I visit Rome, Ga!
Service was horrible and so was the door dash. I order the Meatloaf and the vegetables and a jumbo sweet tea. I only got half of my order I had to go back today to get the rest of my order the atmosphere there is lacking I don't care how busy you all are even if it is kids or adults or whatever you should always check the to go orders it's not hard I don't care how busy your restaurant gets you need to check your customer's orders before letting them out. Communication sucks at that restaurant you all need to do better. Also the owner needs to hire there own drivers to deliver their customers orders instead of going through independent contractors. Thank you. Food is good.
Never had anything that wasn't excellent! I miss the food now that I've moved out of town & it's one of those places I visit every time I go home. The chicken fingers are the best I've ever had! Excellent selection of desserts, as well. The hummingbird cake is my favorite. Service has gone down hill. I've been overcharged more then once at the new location. Only negatives I've experienced in the last year to 18 months.
A friend and I drove from Catoosa County today and tried this place for the first time. We were amazed at the quality of the food and the portions were huge. I ordered the chicken tenders, broccoli salad, fried okra, hashbrown casserole, and Mexican cornbread. Hands down the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Even the honey mustard and ranch sauces were delicious, and definitely tasted homemade. The guy with the drink cart was on point and kept our drinks full. We will be back for sure! So good I tore into my leftovers as soon as I got home. A+++
