About Mi Cancún
The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
We came for lunch today and arrived around 12 or so. Our server was very attentive and checked on us regularly throughout our meal. We started with the nachos for an appetizer and our group of 4 cleared the plate! The chips were still crispy and not soggy like most nachos can be. I ordered the Chori Steak Street Taco's and OH MY GOSH! These were the BEST tacos I have had in Elizabeth City. My husband got the Fajita Burrito and said it was even better than he was expecting. We had a wonderful first visit to Mi Cancún and will definitely be returning! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Fantastic service, and fantastic food!!
The staff is nice and enjoyable. The food came out very quickly and was delicious. The Arroz con Pollo was fantastic, with peppers and onions. They have drink specials everyday, although we did not partake. They have many specials and offerings that are a great value. The place was very clean throughout. As a funny note, when our server came out with our two drinks, he looked up with his eyes closed for like 10 seconds. I assumed he was praying over our table. Turns out, he was trying to remember which hand had the sweet tea and which was unsweet. 🤣
Best Mexican food! Margaritas $6.99 on Fridays for a jumbo!! Service great and prices more than fair.
Finally a fantastic Mexican restaurant in Elizabeth City! 😁 After living in wonderful San Antonio for a few years it was really disappointing not having a really good Mexican restaurant to go but finally one that I feel is definitely on par the food was AMAZING the service and servers were AMAZING we got the nachos and killed them, the complimentary chips and salsa and you can ask for white sauce delicious 😋. My daughter got street tacos, my son in law and husband got the burrito and I got the chimichanga it was so good not greasy like other restaurants chimichanga's. I think I might get the street tacos next time because there will definitely be a next time! 😁 Definitely do not hesitate to check this place out I definitely wasn't disappointed!
Table side fresh guacamole was DELICIOUS!!!! The food was hot and came out quickly. Tried the special Lengua Tacos, very soft and wonderfully seasoned. If you feel adventurous, they are worth it!
