We were absolutely delighted to discover Local Acres Marketplace! While it’s not as large as the big national chains, it more than makes up for it with a selection that feels handpicked for quality and variety. There are some items where you’re lucky to find 2 or 3 options at a national chain, but at Local Acres, you’ll find 20 — we didn’t even know that many kinds of some of these products existed! Their selection of local products is truly stunning, and the quality of their food is top-notch. We were blown away by the availability of organic foods at shockingly low prices. One standout item is their focaccia bread, which costs under $3. You couldn’t make it at home for that price, and it tastes like something you’d get at a high-end restaurant. Beyond the incredible selection and prices, the staff are kind, friendly, and an absolute delight to interact with. We didn’t even know this gem of a store existed, but now it’s firmly part of our regular shopping routine. If you’re looking for quality, variety, and a genuinely enjoyable shopping experience, Local Acres Marketplace is a must-visit!
This store got waay cooler with the variety of higher end options and Hispanic food stuffs, and it's the same Food 4 Less as far as layout and the "bag it yourself" vibe. I recommend this grocery store. Our most recent visit: There's selection of local products, with local higher end specialty items and foods, both in the locals section as you enter, and throughout the store, which made for some epic last minute Christmas shopping. Also, the vegan food selection might be the best in town. (We picked up mushroom steaks.) We also got our favorite sourdough from Sisters Bakery. Pro tip: There is almost always organ meat for your pooch.
It was a pleasure going into this locally grown produce. The store is owned and operated by employees. Cash only sales. You can use your debit card.
I can find everything I need in one stop! Been coming here for over 25 years. Great people, prices reflect quality and service. Great for quick stops or a full restock of my kitchen.
This was my first bad experience here which is unfortunate but I had quite a few items to return and most were cold items that I had bought two days prior and didn’t use and don’t plan on eating so that’s a bunch of wasted food but Nick was very rude. I understand that most places don’t take back perishable items for many reasons but no where on the return policy does it state that they won’t take perishable items. Instead of being incredibly rude Nick, you could have politely explained the return policy.
