I went for some homemade tortillas and they gave me free samples of other things they sell. The guacamole and all of the salsas are excellent and the prices are fair! These Latinos are very nice and helpful people who are hard working members of our society and we should all support this business.
First Run to the back---go for the fresh CORN tortillas. Go ahead and get two lbs. Get enough barbacoa-- (plus gravy) for four people. That will easily feed 5-6 people. The Green salsa is the best. Then the reds. The pico de gallo is still good but not the best. They give you free onions, cilantro, and limes. Perfect dinner for on the go, fast, hungry kids. You can even grab drinks there. I don't go to Gastonia often, but this is a reason to go for me and mine.
The AI summary is spot on. Great food, the staff did everything they could to help us out, and very reasonable prices. The butcher shop meat looked like quality cuts. At very least you need to stop by and get the delicious and fresh tortillas.
Their sign says they close at 8pm. It is 6:30 and they're close!!!! I placed my time stamp of the picture taken.
Best Chicharones, Guac & Tortillas! Best to go in the morning for freshness!! :)) (rock hill Mexican stores cannot compare)
