Great spot to stop for dinner before our evening plans. They were pretty busy and our server was definitely in the weeds, but she was super friendly and knew the menu well. I had a Hulk Roll and a Sapporo. Definitely some of the freshest sushi I’ve had in a while. Restaurant was clean and super cute. We sat inside but there was also a nice patio outside with several tables.
Nice location, free parking if you scan the free 30 min parking garage app then they have another QR code when you get inside. Edamame was too salty, pork ramen was yummy, rolls were delicious. Waitress was good but took too long to bring the check when we were ready to go.
We had a fabulous dining experience here. Our server Maye, was fantastic. We like to mix plum wine & same as a favorite cocktail with our sushi. Maye & the bartender were great at making that happen. The ginger salad was crisp & fresh & the edamame was great. We order a few rolls that were delicious. Loved the Smashville Roll. We highly recommend this place & look forward to coming back when in town.
I got the sashimi deluxe. It was BEAUTIFUL, the fish..top notch. They had some kind of wasabi/green onion sauce in a cucumber cup..idk whAt they put in that but it was GOLD. I don’t even like or use wasabi normally but i ate this sauce like it was going out of style!! Patio seating with a pretty view of the church across the street! The name fits!
I love sushi is one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville. I love the shaggy dog, crunchy shrimp and ginger salad. I think this place is underrated, 10/10 recommend.
