The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
Cozy poke shop serving a variety of poke. Loved the tuna with Hawaiian seaweed (limu), which tasted a lot like the one I had in Hawaii and don't find often here on the mainland. Price was very reasonable for the generously portion poke bowl.
This place is super cute and reasonably priced, not to mention super delicious. The spicy mayo salmon is perfectly seasoned and the guy who helped me out just now was so kind and even offered me to sample flavors I hadn’t tried yet. I also just realized I left both my drinks at the counter 😅 They’ll definitely be seeing me again!
For a small cafe, this place is great with quick service and good food. My go to order is usually the Pokerito (Sushi Burrito wrapped in Nori). I usually order it with the Salmon Spicy Mayo. I've also had the Chicken Adobo Plate, Loco Moco, BBQ Pork Belly plate, grilled Salmon and Bone in Beef ribs (the larger ones) with mac salad and rice to die for. Flavors are consistent and I like the way they season the Mac salad.
Loved the food here! We ordered the beef ribs, grilled salmon, and a couple of poke dishes. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and SO flavorful; even our young kid liked them instantly. Maybe they smoke the ribs a little too. Whatever this shop does it's "broke da mouth" good. The salmon was delicious. The poke flavors were amazing. We even liked the mac salad and I normally don't enjoy that. Even details down to dressing the rice with dried seaweed was appreciated by us all. My wife was super happy to be able to sample so many poke flavors as she was ordering. This is our new "go to" Hawaiian place because it's some of the best; even compared to on the islands. Also, the prices are quite reasonable. We can't wait to go back.
Found them on yelp and got delivered. Their poke buritto (sushiritto type of thing) was very good. We got ginger sauce and didn't disappoint us at all! Chicken katsu was thinner than expected, but was good. Salmon was good too. Spam musubi was a bit too saucy, but it was good. I'll just have to get it with sauce on side next time.
