The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
I had flautas from here about 4yrs ago, super delicious and I was in the mood for mexican so we decided to come back again. The portions are good for the prices, and the service is great, very nice people. The atmosphere was of a Mexican food/Club like with music and deemed lighting. My husband's enchiladas were full and flavorful but my flautas were dry as if they were refried to serve it and some of the beef inside kind of missing. They were still delicious. The queso dip is to die for. I will give it one more try and see the flautas will come out 😊
Wow! We haven’t been here in several months, what a mistake! This place is a hidden gem! Very extensive and authentic Mexican food in a warm and inviting restaurant! Tucked away at the back of the plaza, this restaurant has many tasty offerings!! I had the spicy Margarita and Chicken/shrimp combo! So GOOD and freshly made! My husband had steak and said it was the best he’s had in several months! We will def be back!!
We love Guacamole restaurant. Our favorite food is their fajitas. Even our daughter and my son-in-law loved it so much  that we hired them to cater our dinner for daughter’s wedding last weekend. Mayessi, the owner and the staff did an awesome job. Everybody loved their food and the great service they provided during the reception. The chicken and the steak fajita bar were a great hit. So was the chip bar with all the sauces and guacamole. They even went above and beyond by cutting the cake and serving root beer floats at the wedding as well. They also did an awesome job cleaning up after the dinner and packed up the extra food and provided food for the bride and groom to take with them to the hotel. The cost was very reasonable and we will definitely do it again. Genuinely a great family owned restaurant.
I recently visited Guacamole for a business lunch, and it instantly became my new favorite Mexican spot. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. I kicked things off with their freshly made guacamole and a bowl of chicken tortilla soup—both absolutely delicious! The soup, in particular, stood out as one of the best I’ve had in years, bursting with rich, comforting flavors. For the main course, I sampled a variety of tacos, including al pastor, steak, and ground beef. Each one was cooked to perfection, with well-seasoned, tender fillings and perfectly balanced toppings. Beyond the incredible food, the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. I always appreciate a restaurant that prioritizes high-quality ingredients, and Guacamole clearly does just that. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!
Oh my. I reviewed this on my wife's phone. This place is amazing. The food is great. I go every chance I can get. They are so friendly. Nice atmosphere, no hurry for you to leave. I go with my little family and enjoy a good time. Thank you to all of the staff.
