About Goody’s Family Restaurant
The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
I’m a native of the High Desert/Victor Valley, and I’ve been dining at this location for decades through all its ownership changes. It has always been a pleasant spot with a great view and atmosphere — but this was my first visit since it became Goody’s. Came here with friends for a power business lunch. It’s clearly family-owned, and you can feel how passionate they are about taking care of their customers. Because I’m pre-diabetic, I have to watch what I eat. I ordered the tuna salad — fantastic. A huge portion too; I ended up taking most of it home for dinner. What really impressed me was how many safe, healthy options they had for someone like me. That’s rare for short-order restaurants. My friends ordered burgers and fries, and they smelled amazing (I wish I could’ve had that instead!). Everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was attentive, prices were fair, and overall it was a great experience. Easily a better choice than the dozen fast-food spots nearby, and I’d say it’s a cut above the Denny’s down the road too. Highly recommended.
We stop here for brunch every time we’re driving back from seeing family in Vegas. They have patio seating so we can sit with the dogs, and food is top-notch. Good sized portions with a variety of diner-style options and good prices. Everyone is wonderfully nice, too!
The food was excellent... Really enjoyed the Belgium waffle.. Did not look like one but the chew was on point.. Little crunch with each bite... The country Skillet was great.. Just needed a little more seasoning on the potatoes for me .. I shall return to test the Mexican food... Hear it's Great!! Glad they have new hours for dinner..7 to 7 right now.
The food was absolutely delectable!! Made with authenticity their way!! Took my lady there and we both loved it!! It is for sure a must have for breakfast… they also serve lunch and dinner, I have to go back and try for sure!!!
I met my cousin there on my way home from vegas because he is NEAR....😅🤣😂 Food was excellent thank you cousin stitch see you soon
