Catrina Mexican & Seafood absolutely blew us away. I ordered the burrito with half red sauce and half green sauce, and both were packed with flavor. My son, who’s notoriously picky, devoured his plain steak taco (a rare win), and my wife couldn’t stop talking about the chicken and steak fajita plate. We started with the guacamole, and that might have been the highlight. My wife is still raving about it days later. We loved the experience so much we brought our neighbors the next time, and now they’re raving about it too. They’ve got their beer and wine license, and while they’re still working on getting a full bar, the current setup paired perfectly with the food. Friendly, welcoming staff and a laid-back atmosphere. Safe to say my family and I will be regulars here. Highly recommend. Support this gem before the secret gets out!

Solid food and not difficult to get a seat. We shared a 3 item combination and the tacos have a good crunchy shell. They’re filled with a perfect amount of meat. We had chicken and it was juicy and flavorful The salsa and bean dip is good too. Don’t get full on it! Happy to say that they have Coke here

Been here twice now. Because my son wanted to go back. First time was very good and this time, just as good if not better. The food is excellent: healthy portion of guacamole even for the small serving, excellent Queso Fundido with what tastes like homemade Chorizo and the Molcajete De Mariso was so good....the best part is the bottom of the dish with the seafood in butter and garlic. Plus the Nopales and onions were grilled perfectly. I have been eating octopus and seafood my entire life so if its not good, I know. No complaints here. They even heated the spicy sauce for the seafood which made it taste better. We like to do takeout but it was better to eat in because everything came out nice and hot. Definitely food like I would expect if I were traveling in Mexico that's not Americanized. Even the rice is different. I rarely go to restaurants more than once because there are so many here in LA I want to try. But we are going back one more time to try the Molcajete Mixto. No need to drive to Fillmore to get good tasting Mexican food for me.

We've been twice now. The food and service are great. Chips, salsa and bean dip appear almost as soon as you sit down. I had the fajitas with beef, chicken and shrimp - delicious!!!! The second trip I saw they had added more decorations - a work in progress. The windows are tinted dark so it looks like the lights are off at night. That must be nice in the daytime. The artwork is interesting too. This place is quickly becoming one of our go-to spots! Definitely recommended!
