I saw the good reviews and it was my birthday so I figured I'd treat myself. The lobster tails were over cooked a bit. Clams were so tiny. Crab legs were good. I was very upset they were a bit spicy. I ordered strictly garlic butter. The only butter was a tiny dish. Everything was red. I was so upset. And i was supposed to get simething free and didn't. Made a not ao good birthday, worse. And for the price I paid with Uber eats, very upsetting.

The seafood here is amazing!!! Not at all what I expected, I tried fried oysters, shrimp, crab cakes, hush puppies, and sweet potato fries every bite was perfect and unlike other places I’ve tried everything was lite and full of flavor and not greasy at all. The service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was busy which for me is a sign of a great restaurant.

Cary Crab House was excellent from start to finish. We started with a dozen raw oysters — fresh, briny, and exactly what you want when you’re ordering them raw. I ordered the Dungeness crab and peel-and-eat shrimp combo with their “Big Bang” seasoning (Cajun, garlic butter, and lemon pepper), and it was so good. The seasoning really stood out — buttery and garlicky with a nice Cajun kick and just enough lemon to brighten everything up. It didn’t overpower the seafood at all; it actually brought out the sweetness of the crab and shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly and yes…it was messy in the best way. My wife had the fried shrimp basket with hushpuppies and said it was perfectly fried — crispy, light, and not greasy. She loved it. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the location is great. Overall just a really solid experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

I get this piece to go at least once a month and it NEVER disappoints. I highly recommend this one. Although I don’t like the idea of eating hot food in plastic, I’m sure I’ve had worse when I drank from the water hose in the summers as a kid. The food is always hot, fresh and tasty. I like that you not only get to choose the flavor, but also the level of hotness. I always get the Big Bang which is all flavors mixed together with medium hotness and it’s freaking amazing.

Pretty simple looking place in a strip mall setting. Not fancy, but don't sleep on it. Walked from my hotel nearby and had lobster. Fantastic. Servers were so nice. Food came extremely fast. Highly recommend.
