The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
Pizza tasted like crap. Paid 3.30 each for toppings and extra sauce to receive some cheese dough cause that exactly what it tasted like. 10 inch pizza that was 3 topping only had like 10 pieces on it. They figured since you order deep dish you won't realize that you really not getting what you paid for because it's hiding under the cheese and let's talk about the amount of sauce its really like enough to cover the cheese. Never again would I order from their. Papa dels is the best choice trust me.
Update 2/26/25: I went to get a Philly cheese sandwich and it was disgusting. It was greasy and had so much cheese the texture was off. It even has hair in it. I really wish I could get it remade, a free meal or a refund of some type. I’m upset because I enjoyed my first time eating here this week. I ordered pizza and Italian beefs and loved it.
OVERALL RATING 8/10 This establishment is very clean, especially when you account for all the foot traffic that comes through their doors. The floors, tables, and bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is city-like; which explains why Rosati’s originated in Chicago. As far as the thin-crust, large pizza-pie I ordered, it was absolutely delicious. The wait for the pie was approximately 23 minutes from the order time to our table. This isn’t bad at all considering it is made to order and they don’t utilize a “flash cook” oven like many pizza restaurants incorporate.
I grew up in Chicago. This is what Chicago thin crust pizza tastes like! I don’t know how a big chain restaurant is able to duplicate the kind of pizza the mom and pop place on the corner use to make, but they did it!
Had the Italian beef sandwich. The bread held up to all the jus and they also gave me extra on the side for more dipping. The staff were nice and informed me of the special while I was ordering.
