The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
Baked beans were delicious and filling, lots of flavors. The peach crisp was extremely sweet and tasted like a bag of brown sugar dumped on top of a small dish of peaches, super sweet, the potatoe salad was bland and had no flavor/ seasonings, yet mushy with I don't know what was in it. The brisket was good, dry and had little to no seasonings taste, ribs were the same, sausage okay. Toast I asked for it to be not toasted or butter, it was toasted. For the price of the picture costed just over $35.00+. Bit pricey for one.
Still a great BBQ spot under new management and ownership! Finally got a chance to go try the new BBQ tacos (brisket and pulled pork) and was super impressed, definitely my new favorite. Go ahead and let em put on the jalapeño ranch and give the peach salsa a try, all the perfect mix!
We got the smoked potato with brisket and doctored it up with the cream jalapeno corn, mac n cheese, and queso. So delicious! Plus it was enough for 2 to split and we had leftovers. We will be back when in the area!
1st time here, just passing through. I would highly recommend the smoked potato with brisket. It's great. The young lady that wait on us was fantastic and the young man that helped her bring our food was super friendly. We had our service dog with us so we sat outside and it was so clean and well manicured. Great job guys!!!
Very disappointed, especially for the price. My wife ordered a brisket salad that only had very little meat, and what was there was mostly fat. My chicken looked and tasted like it was oven baked, no smoke at all. I will gladly pay $48 dollars for 2 of us to eat lunch but never again here. Wish I would have taken photos... As requested, the picture of receipt added so you can see the time and date we traded there. I am not the kind that throws bad reviews out, we were just so disappointed in the food. It was a drive through order.
