I decided to go to shogun after going there multiple times and enjoying the restaurant. I went to hibachi and I requested medium rare teppanyaki that Ive always gotten every single time Ive been there, I watched the chef toss my parties steak on the grill for a while, even cutting into the steak to make sure it was perfectly cooked. I patiently waited for my steak, he then tosses my steak around on the grill for a few seconds and proceeded to hand me RAW steak, he did NOT check to see if my steak was even remotely cooked. I complained to the manager and she proceeded to argue with me back and forth that my steak was medium rare despite it being clearly undercooked, visibly stringy, and pink. I found that ironic since having been there prior and never having an issue with my meat being RAW. She lost a costumer and many more since my family and friends used to enjoy this restaurant, we will definitely NEVER be coming back.
Great sushi spot. Hibachi is an option too. Tuna crunch roll is so flavorful. Phoenix roll yummy. Veggie tempura was good. Service was excellent. Restaurant is very clean. We will definitely be back.
This place was fabulous!! Excellent service and the sushi boat was a big surprise!!! It was all wonderful, but their house salad with their dressing is absolutely the best I've ever had. They need to bottle that up. Spectacular!!!!
Stopped in on a Sunday evening and there was a nice crowd. We did not want to wait for a hibachi table so we took regular seating. Service was okay but it seemed to take a while to get our food. I loved the onion soup! So delicious. The rice was a little salty to me but my partner loved it. I also tried the spicy edamame. Big fan here! Overall, pretty good food and good prices. I will be back. Hopefully I can get a good table next time without the wait.
As a country boy Asian food was never high on my list of things to try. But my friends dragged me here and I was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I split the Bonzia(probably spelling that wrong) dinner and chicken fried rice. I found all the meats very tasty and the rice was delicious. Our waiter, Eric, was very attentive and dedicated. While it wouldn't be my 1st choice of places to go, I'm partial to steak houses, I definitely would go again the next time my friends are in mood for it.
