The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
I think this is one of the very few 5 stars I've ever reviewed. Also, this is the only place, in El Paso, I believe all the 5 star reviews are legit. First of all, I have NEVER had customer service- in El Paso- like they have at Delicious Donut. That type of welcome is extinct. You can tell the owner of this shop has pride in what they do and they really do appreciate your business. The staff mimics the owner's behavior. You'll see what I mean when you visit them. No phones, you get their full attention, and they all welcome you and send you off with pleasantries. Its unreal for El Paso. I love that! Presentation is everything and they have it locked down! The glaze on their donuts and "kolaches" are perfection. Everything is so round and shiny that you can't wait to bite into the pastries and food. Oh, man! I ordered A LOT for my first visit because it all looks so amazing that I had to trust it. If it was later in the day, I may have bought more. I understand why the person that gave the 1 star would be upset, BUT when you actually go there, you REALLY DO want to buy everything. So I don't blame the person who bought EVERYTHING that day of your visit, ma'am. If I had that kind of money to splurge, I would have done the exact samething! Don't take it personal!! Anyway, 2 kolaches (actually klobasneks but,whatever) : sausage, egg, and cheese and ham, egg, and cheese, glazed donut (of course), glazed cinnamon roll, 2 sugar donuts, 2 chocolate donuts: (a regular and another with pistachio crumble), a funny red glazed donut with chocolate cookie crumble, I didn't get to take a picture of the whole "kolaches" since I couldn't resist while driving - so SO warm, soft, and chewy 💦 The donuts are incredible, so light and fluffy!! Thank you for setting that amazing standard in your establishment, Delicious Donuts! A lot of us do appreciate that extra effort! See you soon!
Peter and Mye are the friendliest owner/operators I have ever met!!! Their donuts are second to none, and the kolaches are amazing!! If you want a Filled doughnut, they have several fillings to choose from you just tell them what flavor you want and they fill it right there in front of you, the filling is generous!!! Their pricing is very reasonable. And if you have a big order, if you order it in advance, they will fill it. St.Patrick’s KOC has donuts every 1st Sunday and the donuts come from here. They usually order 20+ dozens and Delicious Donuts always comes thru!! Open early to 2pm everyday…. Get there early, your family and colleagues will love them!!
Like Tina Turner, this donut shop is....'Simply the Best'. They have literally the best donuts in this city. For comparison, I think Vista market has a real good donut, especially the one at Sunland Park and Doniphan. But, this Delicious Donut shop is in a league of their own, so much better. The chains (Dunkin, Krispy Kreme) cannot hold a candle to this mom and pop shop. Their selection is off the charts, and they sell breakfast sandwiches and kolaches too. Those are good, but it's the donuts I go there for. They never disappoint. Unlike your childhood birthdays that held empty promises, these donuts will wrap you in sweet loving comfort each time, every time. know you will be loved. They do not charge enough, as I write they are 10.99/doz. I pulled the owner aside and told them they should be charging more...they could be at $14/doz easy; I'll pay for quality (the chains charge that and more, and are half as good in my opinion). If you are looking for a donut, do yourself a favor and uncover this diamond and revel in this sweet delight, knowing that you were clever enough to find this treasure like the seasoned pirate your heart knows you are!!
The Donut shop I have been searching for! Stopped in as I was on the hunt for a good old fashioned donut - well, I found more than I anticipated! I thought I would try one of the stuffed buns and kolaches...including half a dozen of donuts since I could not decide on just one! I chose the stuffed bun with potatoes - took me back to my childhood when my grandmother would treat us to Siopao buns except this one was stuffed with potatoes! So good! Buns are fluffy, and touch of sweetness and the potatoes are lightly seasoned to compliment the two. It's very filling but I couldn't resist to at least try a bite of one of the kolaches. I bought a plain sausage and the other with jalapeño - definitely tasty! OMG! We were kindly greeted and provided with excellent customer service! This is my go-to donut and more shop in El Paso! Highly recommend and will not disappoint!! Thank you!
We ❤️ 👏 👏 👏 this place! Much tastier, fresh & less pricey than the big name 🍩 places. The service is EXCELLENT! Orders are fresh delicious, accurate & VERY reasonable. The owners are all about customer satisfaction. We highly recommend kolaches & 🍩 or apple fritters 😋. Its our only place to buy doughnuts! We also love that they are open by 6 a.m. We would ❤️ for them to be open later than 2:30 but realize their food sells early due to high demand!
