The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
Nice little pizza spot. The atmosphere is very laid back. The staff were friendly and welcomed me right when I came in. They had pepperoni, sausage, and cheese by the slice. $3.50 each which is pretty good! I got one pepperoni and one sausage. I really enjoyed the crust. The sauce was not too sweet and I got a couple small chunks of tomato. That was a pleasant surprise. The pepperoni was overall really good, but my favorite of the two was the sausage. Nice big pieces that tasted like sausage and were seasoned fantastically. For the price and overall flavor, if you’re in the area, definitely stop in! 3*** = Good but no separation from similar restaurants 4**** = Set themselves a part with great food and I want to go back. 5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there!
Stopped by to grab take out and just ate half a pie from my drive from Scottsdale back up to Surprise. Pizza was made fresh and definitely reminded me of a New York slice. I’ll definitely come back every time I’m in Scottsdale
Pizza has little to no cheese, and you can see light through the dough. The salad is basically an individual size at best. Maybe they had an off night but for what we paid it's doubtful we'll be back. Guys at the store are nice.
Being a New Yorker when I saw this on Google maps, I definitely wanted to try it. Went in towards the end of the night on Friday night. Love the atmosphere one of the owners was working was very friendly and helpful. Didn't have the typical New York attitude. Then I found out his business partner is the New Yorker. Lol. I ordered two slices the pizza was good. Next time I'm going to order a fresh pie. I'm sure the slices in the case were sitting for a few hours I would like to taste a nice fresh pie. That's what I will do on my next visit. I added some ricotta cheese to the sausage and pepperoni and it really hit the spot. I took my time nice and slow since the atmosphere was so nice in that place.
Quaint pizzeria with tasty pizza! They sell jumbo slices of pizza for $5. The pizza crust is light, fluffy, and flaky with stretchy cheese, & the toppings are delicious.
