We have been here several times and have always had good experiences. The food, atmosphere and service are always good, but this time we ordered an appetizer from Happy Hour menu and 3 tacos from the Taco Tuesday menu that were for ‘dine in only’. We ordered cocktails and also food from the regular menu. We ordered more than we could eat since we planned to take leftovers home. When we asked for boxes, the server told us we couldn’t take the leftover tacos home because they are for dine in only and I replied “We, are dining in”. His response was to show us the ‘dine in only’ on the Taco Tuesday menu and brought us 1 box for the regular menu leftovers. Other than Buffets (which does nit apply here), I’ve never heard of a restaurant refusing to allow you to take leftover food that you purchased. If this is truly how the policy is intended to be enforced, I think it needs to be clearly communicated before taking an order, so customers are not ordering extra food that will be wasted. If would help for management to clarify if the meaning of ‘dine-in only,’ means no leftovers can be taken home and maybe should update the menus. If the server was mistaken, then management can address with server/s as needed.
We stopped in on a whim when we were visiting for the TOR. Very good food and great service. Mexican like weve never had it. The beef taco was outstanding with shredded beef, the chimichanga was the rice of a small child and filled with everything delicious.
I recently checked out Don Ricardo’s for the first time, and I was a bit skeptical given its location in a mostly suburban area. However, it turned out to be a great find. The vibe inside was really nice, with old Spanish decor and solid Mexican music. The bar was really inviting and had plenty of TV’s and space. The prices were a bit high, but the food was solid. I loved the cheese enchilada, though the ground beef taco tasted a bit like del taco . The rice and beans were delicious. My sister ordered the shrimp à la Diabla, which was pretty spicy and came with tasty cilantro rice. They also had complimentary salsa, chips, and a good bean dip. Overall, I’d come back to Don!
Ordered to go for lunch. The food has a great flavor. I do wish they had a special salad dressing other than just the norms. We then went back for dinner and it was delicious. I had the number 11 and we also had Don Ricardo’s burrito. Both were absolutely amazing so much food. I had to save it till the next day and even reheating it the next day the food tasted very very good I would absolutely be going back and would recommend
Taco Tuesday is our favorite time to go. Not only because the street tacos are great, but their Margaritas are out of this world. Their servers are friendly and very accommodating. Come by yourself or bring your friends & family. Try the carnitas!
