We came for dinner on a Friday night and waited around 45 minutes just for our food to come out. We got the Quesadilla Hawaiiana which was delicious. If you like pineapple this is a good choice. We got the Pollo Tocino, which was cheesy and had lots of bacon. Very good. The chimichangas were ok, I got them with beef tips thinking they were steak tips, which wasn’t the case. Not the best chimichangas I’ve ever had, but ok. Overall good experience. If you want decent Mexican food in Welcome come here!
3rd time that we've been here. Best in the Lexington area by far. We've eaten at most of the Mexican restaurants over the years and could not find one that we were satisfied with. Myself, I had the asada street tacos. The salsa for the chips is nicely thick with some heat. The guacamole could be a little chunkier. My husband had the enchiladas super rancheras. He was very pleased with everything. We will be going back. Highly recommend!!
Omg. I’ve heard the hype for a year from people around town and family. Tonight for new years we got to experience it for ourselves. I do believe they are the BEST we have ever had in our life. The beef hard tacos are phenomenal I had to order three to go.My mom who can’t eat certain things since COVID she was so happy to have a taco that taste great and she wants try it fresh. My boyfriend go the taquitos. I got the ACP Tex, the shrimp I’m very picky about and they were able to make it cooked enough to be still tender and not over cooked. The energy is this place is so cozy and so fresh. It definitely makes you feel your not in a small town from the big flavor. If you have not tried them yet, run to try them you will not be disappointed! I wish I had pictures but the food was too good and service was fast.
This is hard for me to write. We have been coming here for about a year now, and loved this place. My wife, mother in law, and I came to eat here a couple of weeks ago and had a horrible experience (bad service matched with bad attitude.) I don't know what the problem with everyone on duty was, but it was not a good scene. We ordered our food as we always do, my mother in law is 83 and is a very picky eater. She asked that her vegetables be cooked, but not over cooked. The waiter said that he couldn't guarantee it would be to her liking. We got our food and it was good, but it was not easy catching our waiter for things we needed, napkins, drinks, ect. This was a Saturday night around 9.... they advertised closing at 10. I thought it was weird when we pulled in, and didn't see many customers there. You can tell that the mood definitely changed while we were eating there, I don't know if it was over current world events or what but it was very unprofessional. I am disabled, and accidentally tipped the table as I was getting up. I told the waiter I was sorry. We're just not very happy with how everything happened that evening and I don't think we'll be going there anytime soon. The bottom line is how rude the wait staff was.
The food was OK. This place was terribly busy tonight. They are definitely not equipped to handle this many people. I did a call in order at 6 o’clock picked up my food at 6:35. Had to go to the front through all the people to figure out that my order has been sitting there for 15 minutes. Now I have cold food great. On the plus side the young lady working in the front was doing the best she can. She was having the ring people out and see people by herself.
