Stopped here on a California → Washington road trip expecting a completely forgettable fast-food meal. Instead, this ended up being the **highlight of the trip**, so much so that we came right back the next day on our way back for a second meal!! This is genuinely the best fried chicken I’ve had in **at least five years**. The chicken is insanely juicy on the inside, with a perfectly crisp, well-seasoned exterior that doesn’t feel greasy at all. You can tell the oil is fresh and the chicken is cooked properly. Same story with the fries - hot, crispy, and way higher quality than you’d expect from a quick stop. The staff deserves a shoutout too. Everyone greeted us when we walked in and again when we left, service was fast, and the place is spacious and clean. Bathrooms were spotless, seating is plentiful, and parking is effortless. There’s a drive-through, but we chose to eat inside both times. What to order: - **Shanty Basket** (great value) - **Coconut chicken** was the standout - don’t skip it! - **Prickly pear lemonade** is refreshing and unique! If you’re passing through and debating whether to stop - do it! This place massively overdelivers for a road-trip meal and would still be worth a visit even if it weren’t "on the way." If I'm ever in Oregon again, I will definitely be stopping here for a meal!
Really good chicken, the boneless chicken wings were perfectly cooked along with their buffalo sauce. My hubby had their full basket and the coconut crusted chicken was remarkably good with one of their sweet sauces. Enjoyed their strawberry drink as well. The interior was not very nice and the patio seemed messy. The exterior was not attractive. I'm glad we went in anyway. The food was worth it.
I got the wrap and my partner got the boneless wings. The fries were amazing and the chicken was so moist and delicious! Will highly recommend and will come back again!
The outside looks a little odd if you approach at the wrong angle but don't let that stop you from this absolute gem of a restaurant. The staff was jovial and friendly. I appreciated that they weren't watched like hawks and could be human and chat with me a little. Inwas able to ask what they suggested and what they liked. Always nice to support a place that treats staff like humans beings. The bathrooms are spacious and clean, always a bonus. The menu is clear and easy to read, but they served a few more things not on the menu so be sure to ask what else they got. the drinks were a little confusing, but its all served buffet style so I had plenty of time to figure it out and try different things. Then finally, saving the best till last, the food is SO good. The chicken is flavorful and tender, not greasy and tough like some places. the fries are good, the hot sauce was good... You can taste that every single ingredient was anguished over thought about and made to work in harmony. Its a wonderful thing to bite into a sandwich that tastes like a catchy song sounds.
Amazing food and service. First time here and girl at the counter was super helpful recommending things to try. The fries were perfect and the chicken was great. Highly recommend checking out
