I don't know, this place was super confusing. I had driven by this location plenty of times and had been wanting to try it. Decided to stop by for lunch and I realized that it is under New Management and it's called "Bichota" now. The inside was very TikTok presentable. Lots of flowers EVERYWHERE and a bunch of Instagram-worthy picture locations throughout the restaurant. We did place a drink and food order when about 30min into waiting for the food, our waiter came out to let us know they only had one cook in the back and an inspector had shown up so for about an hour or so he was not going to be able to cook, of course we ended up leaving. Not sure what is going on here but the waiter was super apologetic and kept telling us to come back and give them a second chance. Might come back but not too sure.
This restaurant overall well exceeded my expectations! Stopped in yesterday for lunch. I'm not sure if they just recently opened but when I got there there was only one other table of customers. I was greeted right away at the entry. The inside was very clean and I was really impressed with the flow of the layout and the decoration touches. You can definitely tell they put a lot of thought in putting this restaurant together. It was very open and inviting. My server was friendly and quickly brought out a basket of chips with some of the best restaurant salsa that I've had. It was not spicy but had the perfect kick. Any places I go to the salsa is very tomato and mild tasting. Not sure if this is homemade or not but certainly one of the best ones I've tried. Skimming through the menu the lunch menu is absolutely a deal for any item on there. I ended up ordering the Quesabirria tacos. I also ordered a beef and cheese tostada. Part of my reasoning for removing one star from the food was the amount of grease that was in the tostada. As I waded through it it tastes very good but really wish that the meat would have been drained better prior to putting it on the tostada. The tacos and rice were really good. It also is slated to come with beans which I requested double rice in place of. There may have been a misunderstanding as I only received one serving of rice but it was okay and more than enough. Some of the better tasting rice I've had as many restaurants it's not always cook through all the way. The meat inside of the tacos was very tender and tasted great on their own. My other reasoning for removing one star from the food was looking through the menu the pricing for dinner time and regular entrees it certainly on the higher side in comparison to similar restaurants. One example is four asada tacos is 19.00 with rice and beans. That's almost $4 a taco. However I wouldn't totally discounted because I haven't seen the portion because the amount of meat that were in the tacos I received was way more than what you usually get at a restaurant. So depending on that could also offset some of the cost. Just the overall entrees outside of the pick your own combo and a few other items are pretty pricey. I would still come here and try it in the evening though. I believe everything else that comes along with the place and the quality of the food will justify the cost. Certainly a five-star experience overall and I will be returning here again!
I’m a foodie and this place was hands down good. Food was flavored perfect. Vibes were on point loved the fact they play mixed music. Every request we made they accommodated and that’s what made the customer service great. I will be back!!!
I came here excited for the seafood connection express. I got the lockjaw, and I was disappointed. Some of the food was cold, like the shrimp and the potatoes. Only one piece of corn was hot, my sausage, and the lobster tail was hot. The sauce was good, as I remember from the old seafood connection in Charlotte. I don't think they perfected the seafood connection yet. Now, the Margherita and the Birria pizza was excellent. I highly recommend the birria at Savor. The waiter was also attentive and friendly. I will give seafood connection express 3 star, and Savor 4 star.
This review is for three separate orders. After seeing a flyer on social media about a Seaford Connection grand opening, I stopped by. I wasn't sure if this was the same Seaford Connection I'd patronized years ago. The first order was the fried shrimp, fries, and seafood salad combo. I forgot to take a picture of the seafood salad. The food was filling. The second order was the steamed shrimp platter. The wait was a little long. I think they were having to correct something with someone else's order. Was glad to see a full container, until I started unpeeling shrimp & noticed it wasn't deveined. There was plenty of sauce, but if you swirled the food to get extra sauce from the pan, the sauce seemed to be a little salty. The last order was for crab rice. I heard someone else asking for it, but it wasn't available that day. I called ahead to ask if it was available. It took three people coming on the phone before I was told that it was available and my order was taken. Being a seafood lover who cooks and bakes, I was a little disappointed. I understand that having shells in your food is likely when using real crab, but there's no way as much crab shell as shown in my hand should have made it in my container and served to me. In the picture with the utensil, that's the most crab that was in the container. The rest were strands here and there as soon in the first rice picture. Unfortunately, I probably won't be returning.
