The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
All of the food was excellent, huge choice of food options from pulled pork, pulled chicken, ribs, brisket, hamburgers, wings, hotdogs, fish, frog legs, soup, chili, and too many other things to mention all of which was very good. We didn’t have a complaint with anything. My husband had A ribeye steak sandwich, which comes with cheese, onions, peppers, and mushrooms and had baked beans and coleslaw. We had wings with dry rub for an appetizer. I had the fish dinner with hand cut fries, and mixed greens all of which was excellent. The atmosphere was nice and the inside is fixed up to look like an old time saloon, which is very cute. All of the employees were very friendly and made you feel welcome. If you’ve never been there you need to go.
We were passing through and stumbled upon this "Bully Barbeque" in the middle of nowhere. Great customer and super friendly service. The food was fresh and big portions! We ordered the fully loaded potatoes with pulled pork on it (That was soo mouth watering, the size of that potato was speechless), we also ordered the Brisket with Fries and a side of coleslaw, coleslaw was delicious just the right amount of seasoning , brisket was smoked and filled with flavour. Have you ever stopped somewhere to eat because of the smell? We were riding by and turned around the motorcycle because our mouths started watering! Everything we saw (and had) was fresh! This homemade lemon blueberry cake was fantastic! The greens were not what I expected, but now it will be hard to go back to what I’m used to. The French fries were on the softer side so may want to ask them to make them a little crispier if that’s your thing. I highly recommend stopping by.
Got the brisket, pork ribs, jalapeno cornbread, sweet cornbread, greens, corn on the cob, and a pumpkin chocolate chip cake 😄. While everything was tasty, the cake blew me away. Freaking delicious man. It's a cool place, very chill and eclectic. The people are nice and everyone is served quickly. The smokers are blasting and the smell is amazing. Stop in you'll enjoy it.
I visited Bully Barbeque as a recommendation from a family member. I must say that I was highly impressed. As soon as you pull into the parking lot, the smell alone lets you know that it's going to be delicious! The atmosphere of the restaurant was very inviting, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was AMAZING. The ribs were so tender and delicious that they just fell right off the bone. The fries are some of the best fresh cut french fries I've ever had and the baked potato is massive! The only thing that I got that I didn't care much for was the mac and cheese but everything else definitely made up for it. It's worth a try if you love places like this!! I will be a repeat customer after this past experience.
