Close to the original best steakhouse but much better quality meats! After eating there about 20 times I'm pretty well convinced this is about the best budget steak house north of downtown. The cooks definitely know how to grill meat. Even their homemade mashed potatoes hit the spot. For the price range we highly recommend it.
We have heard some really good reviews for this restaurant. So my husband and I stopped in a week ago for a late lunch/early dinner. We were very impressed! I ordered the Walley and my had the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. It arrived quickly and perfectly done. The staff was very attentive and really nice! We enjoyed talking with them all! Gotta visit this place and see for yourself.
Based on the great reviews I came across, my son and I had dinner tonight at the Best Steakhouse Plus in Forest Lake. Thank you friends for the steer to this place! It is a great find! Adrianna is a charming, friendly, and helpful hostess. The vibe of this family owned and operated hometown hideaway is low-key, warm, welcoming, and comfy, with lots of smiles all around. (I withheld one star for atmosphere only because it isn't a high-dollar, trendy kind of place. It's a small-town family place. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, just didn't want to set high expectations for a high-end room.) I had the ribeye medium rare with the mushrooms and it was fantastic. I enjoyed it considerably more than the similar offerings at the chain steakhouses. The sides were great. You could not ask for a fresher salad. Even the croutons are homemade. Perusing the menu revealed a lot to try. The breakfast offerings, burgers, even gyros look tempting. I, for one, would like to see this family succeed and stay in business in our midst for a long, long time. The food, the folks, the prices, the vibe - I'd like to be able to continue to enjoy it all for a long time to come. Please help me in supporting these wonderful members of our community and their worthy enterprise.
Kids wanted to go to the "man waving" restaurant. I was skeptical going in but left very impressed. The salad bar is small but very fresh. Burger and wrap were great. And the kids Mac and cheese was a huge hit. We'll be back for sure. Very friendly service, too.
My son who just moved to Wyoming found this place so he took me there last night and it was fabulous!! The whole experience I want to go again right now!! I had the ribeye w/fried onions, baked potato Texas toast... PERFECT! The salad bar.. freshest crispiest leaves croutons amazing. PERFECT...OMG I'm drooling thinking about it... YUM YUM!
