The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
Best PRESSED meatball sandwich ever. Small mom and pop run sandwich shop that is definitely a Slam Dunk in taste, price and options. Simple menu with good options and weekly specials. I'm definitely coming back to taste the other sandwiches. Located in small plaza right next to Steak n Shake. If you want a great pressed sandwich, then I highly recommend togice these guys a try. You won't be disappointed.
The sandwiches and tomato bisque were good, but nothing too special. The Cuban would be better if they made their own mojo pork instead of ham. We only got takeout, but our food was ready on time. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous.
If I could give Slam Dunk 100 stars, I would. Completely underrated, they deserve all the praise. I ordered the “secret menu” sandwich, I believe it was called the Chicken Dilly as well as the strawberry banana smoothie. I stopped multiple times while eating it just to tell my roommate how good it was. I believe the owner was there and made our first experience there exceptional. He and the other staff member that was there went out of their way a multitude of times to help us and provide extraordinary service. The portions are gigantic and 1,000,000% worth the price. The ranches are so well crafted, the kitchen knows exactly what they are doing. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
I've tried both their salads and sandwiches and they are out of this world! Very reasonably priced and the portions are generous. The staff is always super friendly and you can tell that the manager really takes pride in the business. I tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago and my only regret is that I didn't try it sooner! This has been my go to spot for lunch several times this week. Will definitely be back! P.s. would love to see the supreme pizza sandwich as a permanent menu item!
Good Sammy for sure. It’s a weekly lunch stop for us. Rewards program is good and food always satisfies. Serving size is big too. Usually we are taking half a sandwich home.
