First time trying this place. My food was cold. I ordered the 2 enchiladas meal. The cheese enchiladas were cold and the sides were warm at best. I even asked them to remicrowave my food and it was still not warm. It should have been hot at service. Average taste. Server was nice. Kinda expensive also.
Horrible physical location, but it is worth the maze to get to the location. Food is excellent, free tortilla chips, free sauces and toppings. IT IS AUTHENTIC AS IT COMES - FAST FOOD WISE. A DIFFERENT LEVEL THAN Taco Bell, Taco John's, or one of the other. Highly recommend! I just wish they had Al Pastor. Only downside, but everything else is exceptional. ✌️
Decided to give Abelardo's a try on their opening day, the lobby was clean but bland...nothing exciting. The staff was very friendly and polite, pricing was fair and as a bonus we discovered they gave us 50% off for being a customer on opening day. The food portions were larger than expected and everything we ordered was fantastic. The burritos (pictured) were beef and seasoned terrifically, not too much but enough it was really good. The burritos were quite a bit larger than expected, I was only able to eat 3/4 of one. The apple filled churros for desert were delicious! A couple of suggestions though, ditch the cheap plastic forks/spoons/knives and opt for metal silverware, better cups than 'solo' cups would suit this place better. The 'clean up' is confusing, I suspect you could just dine and leave your dirty plates on the table, we opted to scrape the leftovers (that we didn't put into a togo box) into the trash and stacked the plates/trays there. But the plastic silverware is horrible for a place this nice. We'll return, they were prompt, friendly and good!
Well today was my second and last visit here. First time I got the taco special, crunchy beef, and it was eh ok. Tried again today, same food. The first taco was once again eh OK, but then by the second taco, the meat was just...off or something. Not like bad bad but not quite right either. After eating 2 or of the 5 tacos, I'm not feeling so hot now. I was so happy to eat tacos, by myself, no sharing with my kid, all mine for breakfast lol. I've had an awful last couple of weeks and this was my treat to myself. Needless to say, I will not return to this place.
Great little spot for quick counter service Mexican. Everything came out quick and was very fresh. Friendly staff and a great salsa bar. The Birria tacos were delicious and very reasonably priced.
