Great location for in/out off 29. Typical prices. Plenty of room to move, not crammed like some places. Hopefully they expand on selection but there is a decent variety for a small town. Young guy working has been beyond helpful on more than one occasion. Very knowledgeable. (Might want to consider expanding soda selection, coke and diet coke 2L is really bad.)
I love this place! Owners are my absolute favorite! So approachable and easy to talk to! I love going in there and just asking him or his wife different questions and they happily answer all of them. Love that they carry a lot of unique harder to find brands as well!!
Staff have always been friendly. The prices for allocated bourbon are what we bourbon hunters call “museum” prices. For example they had an EH Taylor BTAC priced at $2k. It’s is almost like they didn’t research what to charge. Just so everyone knows msrp on that bottle is $150. I have seen it priced as high as $1100. People want to shop local but you alienate customers like that. We discuss these types of stores on Facebook groups. If you put a healthy secondary price on your allocated bourbon, we are happy to pay that and will buy other items.
First time visiting this store and it was lovely. The store was well kept and clean. Erica was so sweet and answered any questions I had. Would highly recommend.
I really did want this store to be my new regular stop. The people, the vibe, and the name are all phenomenal. The prices aren't great and the selection is limited. Anything allocated is way overpriced Edit: I've edited my review to a 4 star. I was doing some review catch up, and sped through. I apologize. Furthermore, the "not great prices" I commented on, seems to be compared to some other stores that had stuff on sale, which isn't completely fair for a family owned store. The comment on the allocation was specific to when I inquired about Eagle Rare 12, which (being a new release) was insane most places. I will revisit, we need more good family owned stores. Cheers.
