Casual spot. Walk right in, and you see the different kinds of Poke available for the day. They also have Hawaiian plates. The quality of this poke is very fresh, texture is a little bit soft because of the mixing they did prior. It is the perfect texture. For poke beginners, the spicy mayo salmon is it good entry point. If you have had it before, they are all good, my favorites are the hawaiian shoyu and spicy mayo salmon. If someone in your party does not like pokey, I would recommend the spam musubi and galbi.
My Go to whenever I'm missing home. The Short Ribs Kalbi is delicious. The meat was fall-off the bone tender and great flavor. The Mac Salad complimented the meal nicely.
Honu Poke & Grill truly delivers on all fronts! We ventured outside the usual South Bay bubble—a 20-minute drive that was absolutely worth every minute. We indulged in the fantastic barbecue ribs, which were perfectly fall-off-the-bone tender. Paired with their incredible poke and generous portions of teriyaki chicken and rice, plus a side of mac salad, we left completely satisfied and already planning our next trip!
Love this place. Island style format with pre marinated poke. Great for takeout, especially for parties and potlucks. The poke are like $22/lb so pretty close and often cheaper than buying the ahi yourself.
Found them on yelp and got delivered. Their poke buritto (sushiritto type of thing) was very good. We got ginger sauce and didn't disappoint us at all! Chicken katsu was thinner than expected, but was good. Salmon was good too. Spam musubi was a bit too saucy, but it was good. I'll just have to get it with sauce on side next time.
