The food was just ok. One thing I can say though it does come out hot. Caution with the plate. The desert was average. I would say my expectations were a bit higher. The service was slow and it wasn’t very busy. Overall not bad.

Fraud was committed on our bill! The server decided to give herself a 10.00$ tip. When LPD showed up the restaurant "couldn't" find our ticket! it was not in their paperwork, making it impossible to get the name of the server. I'm told they retain the credit card slips for at least a month! So when they couldn't find it, it was very suspicious! They offered me a 20.00$ gift card, I declined that option. I don't plan on returning to the establishment! Our order was wrong, the server never brought the napkins we requested, she never checked back on us, didn't even offer to refill our drinks @ 4.25 a drink, and she never checked on our meals nor did she bring us anymore chips!! So naturally we weren't going to tip her for the service we didn't receive. So she decided to go ahead and tip herself!! UNLAWFUL!! The restaurant said they would look into it and said, I'm pretty sure I know who your server was, as if this isn't the first time this occurred!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! IF YOU DO DECIDE TO TRY THERE FOOD WATCH THE TRANSACTION AND KEEP A COPY OF YOUR RECEIPT!

The food was horrible. There was 2 hairs in my food and they argued with me that it was the cheese. Totally lost my appetite after finding hair in my food. The sides with my meal was basically white rice with some mixed veggies and a dinner salad. So beyond weird. Definitely not authentic Hispanic food. First time going and will never go again.

We stopped in for dinner and tried their white queso. The Little Flip Outs liked it. The Little Flip Outs had the kids quesadilla. Mrs. Flip Out tried the Carne Asada y Mas and enjoyed the carne asada. It had good flavor and was tender. I had combo plate with a chalupa, chimichanga, and a burrito. The chalupa was tasty.

Hacienda Real is my go to place for Mexican food in Lincoln. Today I was so disappointed in the service. When we walked in there was probably 3 or 4 tables and no one in the bar. We stood for a while waiting to be seated and watched as the staff stood around and visited. No one acknowledged us for some time. When someone did come to seat us we asked to sit in the bar. Again we waited while the staff socialized. Our waitress came over and took our drink order and brought us menus. After we received our chips it was quite some time before our waitress came back to take our order. Another lady came by carrying a silverware tray and put two sets of silverware and one napkin in front of me and then came back by and tossed a second napkin in the middle of the table. Our food came and was hot and tasted amazing. Our waitress just sat the food down and walked away. After we finished eating, we waited for a while until she came back. We asked for to go boxes and the check. She brought them back and sat them on front of us and turned around and left without speaking with us. We put our cards in the folder and again, she picked then up without acknowledging us. She brought them back and tossed both of them in the middle of the table. She is lucky we left her a tip at all. I hope she knows she received half of what I would have left her. If this had been my first time visiting this establishment it would be my last. I will give them another chance but to say I am disappointed is an understatement. The staff never stopped visiting in the bar and I believe only one additional table came in during our stay.
