We love this place! It is kids friendly and have very friendly staff! Food is great and consistent. Chips are nice, warm, and quick. Definitely recommend!
The mixed drinks were good… That’s about where the best part starts and ends unfortunately. Service is rough at best, very slow, had to request a bar menu which felt odd, the taco salad was very… Wet. Shredded chicken tasted like canned chicken. It was just a not great experience. The desserts did look good though, so I think we missed out on that one.
This place used to be great. The new owners have taken shortcuts on everything. If you look at the menu online you see one price. When you call in that order and pick it up it’s a price difference of 6-10 dollars per item. When you bring it to their attention the little short guy gets all upset saying why didn’t you order online it’s cheaper. Sir that doesn’t make sense. They proceeded to screw up our order and then I had to bring the order back to them in order for it to be fixed. The amount of side eye and disrespect was overwhelming. Once the new order was completed the little short guy proceeded to follow me outside and say disrespectful things until his employees pulled him back inside. Overall disgusting behavior and will not go back.
My husband and I decided to try El Salsa in Wendell, and WOW we were blown away. Hands down the best Mexican food we have ever had. Every bite was fresh and full of flavor, and you can tell they put real care into their food. The service was just as impressive friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. We felt genuinely welcomed the entire time. This is definitely our new spot. If you’re looking for incredible food and great service, El Salsa is the place. 🌮🔥
El Salsa is such a solid go-to in Raleigh. The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and the service is always friendly. Plus, you can’t beat the free salsa when you sit down—always a nice touch. Perfect spot for a casual meal.
