The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
My husband goes here multiple times a week and today he witnessed the cashier trying to steal $100 from a Mexican man who didn’t speak good English. She told him his ticket was only a $100 winner when it was really $200. She ended up giving the money up once he got her manager involved. Management needs to reconsider who they have handling their money.
This was the best place, the prices were very reasonable and the cashier was awesome. I miss her. I don't work over there anymore, I moved but if I ever was down there again I would definitely go there for my food. Worth every penny whatever you buy. Their egg sandwiches are reasonably priced and they taste awesome. Again worth every penny.
If you have not eaten at Safeway Mini Mart in the last 6 months, you are definitely missing out! The smoked sausage, egg and cheese biscuit is phenomenal!! Actually, all of the biscuits are yummy. They even have a clean small eating area to enjoy your food. I cannot believe they have cheeseburgers, bologna sandwiches and PIZZA made to order! Guess what? The cook, Tony, will certainly try to accommodate your food order request as well. He is always friendly and definitely cares about what he cooks in his kitchen. It is a convenient location for us who live in this beautiful area. I also want to recognize the entire staff as well. I feel so welcome when I stop by to eat or to make a fast purchase. Helpful service except one incident of some ignorant employee adding judgement into an item that I’ve bought. Made me reconsider going there again to run into him again; Best place to purchase rare cigarettes, But will not be returning there No time soon.
Awesome staff in the mornings when I always stop in before work for my daily Red Bull’s. Everyone knows your name and treats you like a friend.
