Everyone raves about the service however I have had the opposite in my experience. I have 4 Cobra machines, including a skiver and love them. The people and service are another story. Everything you can imagine, here are a couple. I had a pully break on one machine and tried to purchase on from Tandy who said they didn't carry parts. Contacted Leather machine co and they didn't respond. In desperation I contacted Springfield Leather to purchase parts and I told them I would pay any price. , just wanted the parts. They made a call to Leather machine and prompted them to sell me pullys (got an extra one because I didn't want to go through it again) Last week I made an inquiry through the website asking questions about a smaller machine, the 18, and never heard back. Today I emailed Heather at Leather Machine asking for some input on the 18 only to get a curt brush off. I don't know who Cobra Steve is but I think he can give lessons to the rest of them. I am done with the Cobra brand, and it's not because of the machines.
I was gifted a cobra class 4 sewing machine. An awesome gift! I called the leather machine Co. And spoke with a wonderful person named Heather. She was super helpful and took my order over the phone. Such a rare pleasure to have a one on one .
When I decided to get back into leathercraft, I knew I didn’t want to half step buying a machine. So after some research, I decided to get a cobra class four. I decided to get one because of the countless reviews that stated how great the customer service is with this company. Those reviews aren’t wrong. Tony the mechanic has spent hours showing me repeatedly how to tune my machine. Vince has always been welcoming and has helped me tune my motor. The rest of the warehouse staff have always been very welcoming and warm the few times I’ve gone down to the warehouse. You might be able to find machines from other companies that are cheaper, but the little bit more you pay with this company gets you lifetime unbeatable support. I make working Dog gear, because of their support and inspiration, I can offer the same lifetime guarantee and support for my gear. @killallcompetition
Fantastic customer service. I had an issue with our new Class 26 heavily marking leather. After a call to the company, they stayed on a call and video chatted with me until we got it tuned in and running perfectly. The class 26 is a beast, I’m honestly surprised by how thick the material is that it can handle without even breathing hard. Thanks!
Great customer service!!! My Cobra Class 26 ran fine but had an irregular belt with a wobble. It took a phone call of less that 2 minutes to resolve this and I had a tracking number for my new belt before I got off the phone!!
