The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
Me and the hubby stopped by for a random date. Super fast service! Also super nice! The broth for the Pho was amazing! It was very flavorful, it really didn’t need anything added. Although Im a sucker for chili flakes and the bean sprouts. It’s a cozy small spot. Oh and they have super cool bowls for the Pho! Never seen a bowl with a ceramic lid that doubles as a tray for the fresh additives! I will be coming back again to try some of the other options on the menu in the future.
It’s a great place to get banh mis if you don’t want to drive to the cities. Sesame chicken was disappointing and tastes like prepackaged sauce containers from Sam’s club. I also found what looks like a hair in it as well and the chicken inside did not have flavor. Seemed like they did not salt and flavor chicken before batter. Thai iced tea was too sweet and watery. Was not impressed. I thought the egg rolls were amazing and meaty! My husband def prefers more traditional Asian wrapping with more vegetables and noodles. Pho not pictured: I didn’t have the pho but my husband did. He didn’t like it because he couldn’t taste the “spices” that are traditionally put into the pho broth.
Probably the best pho I've ever had, including St Paul and anywhere in Woodbury no doubt. So fresh and full of herbs. The broth was perfect! Someone complained that it was expensive and there was trickery in the pricing. I didn't have a problem figuring out the price at all, and it was not overpriced for the amount and quality received. We will definitely be going back very soon. Our server was very friendly and helpful as well.
I’ll tell you what. We tried this place last summer and I liked it a lot. We figured we’d try takeout and the food was not as good. My pho broth was bland. No seasoning. Loved the bowl it came in. Egg rolls were burnt and oily. I’m disappointed. Your pho game needs to be on point and it’s not. Probably will not be on the list for restaurant selection. I really wanted to like this place.
Was looking for a fun place to try PHO for the very first time and this place was PHO-NOMENAL! The service we received was excellent and the food came out exceptional! Pho was delightful and fresh, extremely large portion (so good I couldn’t finish it all and didn’t even get a chance to touch my wontons I ordered). LOVE THIS PLACE! 10/10! Will be recommending this place to everyone! Everything was dynamite!
