The Retired & Disabled Police of America (RDPOA) is a fraternal organization formed in October, 1990 and incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as a non-profit corporation, and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
The service was great! We did go when there was only one other table after lunch but all in all, our server was amazing. Now, I do have to agree with a lot of the comments on here stating the flavor of the food being bland. I'm Spanish and we cook with a lot of seasonings but it seems like all of our meals were missing flavor. The dip trio, however, was sooo good! Not sure if we'd go back since there as so many other options for Spanish food around that just taste way better.
We had an amazing experience at NIXTAMAL! We came in with a family of six on Valentine’s evening, and everything was absolutely delicious. Even though it was a busy night, the service was prompt, fast, and very attentive. Our server, Jorge, was outstanding. He was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed. He truly helped make our night special. The restaurant was very child-friendly, which made our family dinner even more enjoyable. We could not have asked for a better night out together. We will definitely be coming back and hope to see Jorge again. Highly recommended!
I am very impressed. I have been to many Mexican restaurants across the country because I travel full-time; and this one is now at the top of my list! Great atmosphere, great service. The waitress, Noemi, was terrific. She was very friendly, and based on my drink preferences, she recommended the “cantarito,” which I absolutely loved! The quality and presentation were authentic and impressive. I’ll definitely be back here again. I’m also gluten-free and ate safely. 10/10
The food is great. We love the Pizza Birria, Birria Fries, and table side guac. Those are a must try but we keep coming back for Alejandra — the best service!
Nixtamal Mexican Kitchen is a solid find. The food was great: fresh tortillas, flavorful carnitas, and a salsa bar that actually delivers. Everything tasted homemade and came out hot. Service was fast and friendly; our server was attentive without hovering and had our order out in minutes. Clean, casual spot with fair prices. We’ll definitely be back.
